Differences Between Presidents Bush and Obama
Are these your opinions or those of your friend? How is Obama generally viewed by the Turkish media?
On july 11, I went to one of my Amerikan friends home for dınner. After dinner I talked with my friend’s husband about presidents Bush and Obama.
Obama is more open minded than Bush. He is able to accept different viewpoints. Bush believed that his way was the only way about the economy and war. He also put his religious beliefs about marriage and abortion before his people. On the other hand Obama is more peaceful and more understanding of people’s situations. He accepts abortion and gay marriage, because he believes you can choose whatever you want.
Obama is very close to his family. His wife helps him make many decisions. Bush’s wife was not a part of his presidency. Obama also helps destroy stereotypes because he is black, smart and successful. Therefore he helps race relations.
Obama is now helping to rebuild the economy and create jobs. Bush however destroyed them. Obama is also helping our relationship between the U.S and Iraq. Iraq did not trust the U.S during the Bush presidency, because he destroyed everything and killed many people.
